Oldesloer is a North German grain spirit with a loyal fan base. Oldesloer is particularly popular in rural areas. But relying solely on the past and allowing the brand to gather dust would mean standing still. That's why we developed a clear brand positioning: ‘WE COMBINE TRADITION AND QUIRKINESS.’ This led to the new brand claim ‘ISSO.’ From then on, we gave the hard stuff new appeal with a clear edge, northern German humour and honest down-to-earthness. Through design, website, OOH or brand in space. The old target group is celebrating. A new one is also giving it a try. And the figures confirm this. Let's have an Oldesloer to celebrate!

Filling a waterbed with Korn sounds crazy? We did it! And together with Niels Buschke and carpenter Rakete, we even built a complete Oldesloer ‘Butze’. At the ‘Bretterbude’ hotel in Heiligenhafen. The fans are going wild about it! You too?

125 years! Now that’s a huge anniversary! To celebrate, we redesigned the Oldesloer bottles and put a big ‘Thank You’ on them. With the right copy, of course, we thanked our fans – right there on the supermarket shelves. On top of that, we created a special edition: Goldesloer. A damn fine drop.

The Oldesloer logo is ancient, but unmistakable. And its edges look so sharp you could almost cut yourself on them. But of course, no one does. We turned those edges into the key visual element for the website, packaging, and POS. Now everything has a clear shape and consistency.

Anyone who thinks Oldesloer is only about Korn is seriously mistaken. They can do vodka too – and do it really well. Our packaging design is as simple as the vodka is clear.

That’s a lot of stuff. An overview sure doesn’t hurt.
