Transformation on every level.
HIT Technopark? At first, we thought it was an electro club. But it was actually a technology park in Harburg. With stable rental income and very satisfied tenants. But the family business wanted to transform itself: the vision was to create a place for collaboration. With offices, a hotel, a restaurant, an event location, and the ‘Organizational Design & Collaboration Engineering’ chair foundation at the Technical University of Harburg. We smoothed out the brand with our workshop for all these measures. And then we continued with the name. Because after the war, a three-wheeled transporter was built here: the Tempowagen. So the name was practically lying on the street: Tempowerk. With our corporate design, we translated the industrial design language into a modern style. The transformation was suddenly noticeable everywhere: also in the form of our oversized artistic installations on site. Today, Tempowerk is an established name and the meeting place for innovative technological collaboration in the south of Hamburg.

Does a foyer really have to look as stuffy as all the others? Our installation is 10 meters high! Couldn’t you just put up a big sign at the entrance? Sure, you could. But we were way more excited about using a container. Together with one of our favorite partners, Niels Buschke, we designed and built both. Standing in front of it, you really feel small.

New name, new logo, new corporate design, new website – and the whole shebang. But above all: new confidence.
