Courage to stand out.
Schloss Wachenheim, a German sparkling wine producer, was bold enough to launch a sparkling wine more than 70 years ago and name it after a pest. Pretty brave. Especially in a market that tends to be rather traditional. Kleine Reblaus was thankfully a big hit, particularly with a female target group. But the design had always been quite classic and, over time, had started to feel pretty dated. Sales declined. In a brand workshop, we sharpened the brand, gave it a much younger feel and developed the positioning JOY IN BEING UNREASONABLE. From this, we derived the claim NO RULES. JUST JOY. along with the new design and brand world. The look is now as easy-going as the name. Let’s go, Kleine Reblaus. The brand is ready to take off again.
